Australia is one of the key training partners at the Iraqi Army-run training facility noncommissioned officer (NCO) academy located at Taji Military Complex, Iraq.

 Australia is part of a ‪coalition‬ of more than 60 international partners that has united to assist and support the Iraqi Security Forces to degrade and defeat ‪‎Daesh‬. This unity between coalition partners has contributed to Iraq’s significant progress in halting Daesh's momentum and in some places reversing it.
